C.U.B.A.Clinical Ultrasound Bone Sonometer.
The CUBA.Clinical Ultrasound Bone Sonometer performs a quantitative ultrasound measurement through calceanus (heel bone). The results, which are compared to a normative database, can be used in conjunction with other clinical risk factors as an aid for the diagnosis of Osteoporosis and, ultimately in the determination of fracture risk.

I suffered with Anorexia as a teenager and even though I fully recovered and consider myself a healthy individual I wanted to check on any long term or future impact on my bones. Due to my age and no previous fractures I didn't appear high risk under the NHS symptom criteria. My FRA/Scan did show that my bone density was lower than average. HOW TO BOOK?
We are currently only taking a minimal number of private clients. Please ring reception stating your appointment requests or requirements. We will confirm availability and provide a link to pay the deposit via PayPal. A deposit of £25.00 is to secure the appointment. The remaining balance of £30.00 is payable at the Scan/Fracture Risk Assessment appointment. You can pay by cash or card via our secure SumUp payment system.
Your appointment may be at our premises or a local venue (e.g., a local consultation room in a Town or city near you). Confirmation will follow within 24 hours of paying the deposit. Scanning and screening are strictly by appointment only.
